TASTING NOTE: Colour: pale gold. Nose: Powerful. Explodes with aromas of apricots, pears and white flowers. Palate: harmonious, well balanced. Delicate hints of white flowers. Finish: full, smooth yet fresh ending on exotic fruit.
FOOD RECOMMENDATION: Sole, shellfish, foie gras, poultry dishes, or as an “aperitif”
SHORT HISTORY: From Guibert Family - prestigious Languedoc vignerons - the Reserve de Gassac Blanc was first produced in 2007 as an exclusive blend for Les Caves de Pyrene, using a blend similar to the Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc.
CLIMATE: Mediterranean.
TERROIR: Sand and gravel soil on the bankside of the Hérault river - 120m altitude – North-facing.
VITICULTURE: Guyot - manual pruning & harvesting
