Very limited stock available for this beautiful Pomerol located just 1 km from the World famous Château Petrus vineyard. Blackberry, cherry, vanilla and earthy fruit aroma. Firm fruit with good perfume, a lovely minerality and iron notes from the Pomerol soil. Fresh, sleek, integrated oak and a lovely zip in the middle. Good, solid wine for the mid-term.
Vintage
2011 had to hold its own after the two previous outstanding vintages. The weather conditions were very distinct, with a toasty spring causing exceptionally early flowering in mid-May. It was first very dry in summer and then humid in early August to return to great heat in early September. The outcome is a wine of beautiful concentration unveiling a remarkable freshness.
